Safari Surf School is the longest running surf school and camp in Costa Rica...and for good reason, we're the best at what we do! Not only do we provide surf instruction or guided surf tours but we ultimately provide an "experience" like no other. When you travel to a foreign country you want to submerge yourself in the local culture and hang out with the local people. This is exactly what we offer! Not only will you learn to surf while you're visiting us but you will meet and greet the local people, hang out with us for dinner, go out to the local Fiestas with us etc. You will become part of the "family" of Safari Surf School and this is what you will cherrish at the end of the day...the memories and freindships made.
We do not "import" our instructors from other countries...everyone in our operation is either a local Tico / Tica or has lived there in Nosara for years!
Keep in mind we can customize ANY type of package for you as we have access to gorgeous custom homes and an array of local hotels that we use to fit any budget and all tastes.
In addition to the lodging options in the magical enviroment of Nosara...we also have amazing activities that we can set up for you in your "down" time like ocean or river kayaking, deep sea fishing, yoga and wellness classes, zip line canopy tours, hikes to the local waterfalls etc. Our old saying is that "you will run out of time before you run out of activities to do".
