The experience of surfing can have an incredible effect on the lives of those who try it. We believe surfing should be available to everybody. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Surf Relief to offer disabled children, (under 18yrs), disabled 1subsidised one to one surf sessions.
Depending on the individual’s needs and abilities, we can offer anything from a ‘learn to surf’ session to a tandem wave riding experience. We have experience of working with young people with all types of needs including autism, Asperger’s syndrome and Down’s syndrome. We can cater for groups, schools or individuals.
One to one sessions include all equipment and are just £30 per session off peak and £60 peak (school holidays, weekends and bank holidays). For more information please contact us.6
Signed lessons for the deaf
We were the first surf school in the UK to offer signed surf lessons for deaf students and have been doing so for the last four years. Our BSL signed lessons are with Level 2 signer, British Surfing Association surf coach and beach lifeguard Becky Price, assisted by other coaches from our team. We work on a ratio of four students per coach and provide all equipment. We can cater for groups, schools or individuals. Get in touch via our enquiry form for more information.
