This place was such a part of my childhood. Spacious rooms with efficiency kitchens. Nice, breezy decks with Adirondack chairs that (if you booked your room properly) allowed for a delightful hybrid of people-watching and ocean views. The Blue Surf couldn't be more conveniently located within Bethany, and is within walking distance of most of the good stuff. It's right on the boardwalk, and at the end of the main drag of town.
The proprietors are lovely people and always very sweet. The Blue Surf brings back so many amazing memories. It's a true monument in my mind, and one of the last pure things in a town that is gentrifying all too quickly.
