Hawaii. It is the destination you long for, and the place that beckons you back time and time again. The good news is that there's no bad time to go to Hawaii. You can expect a little more rain between November and March, but temperatures hover in the mid-to high 80's/30's all year long with a perennial soft trade wind. The air is like silk - the first thing the visitor does on alighting in Hawaii from the plane is take a deep breath of seamless vitalizing oxygen; on a day of rain the air will be scented with flowers - plumaria, puakenikeni or ginger.
Having travelled extensively, Nancy was blessed to grow up part of her life on the island of Oahu and counts this island as one of her favorite spots. Oahu sports the world famous beach at Waikiki on the southern coast, and Lanikai - named the best beach in the world - on the northeast side. It has the big surf at Waimea, Sunset and Makaha and the huge bays of Kane¹ohe, Hanauma, and Kailua. On the leeward coast there is stunning coastlines of white sand beaches and black rock along Makaha, Makua and Yokohama Bay which meets the Waianae mountains and, which is Nancy¹s passionate and magic place to share with her visitors.
Explore and surf with Nancy, understand swell direction, differences in wind and how the tides can make your surf session so much more enjoyable.
