Maui Surf 14
Hawaii's first surfing institution, the Nancy Emerson School of Surfing, has been teaching people of all ages to surf since 1973. Focusing on the complete surf experience, the school places a strong emphasis on water safety, ocean awareness and surfing etiquette. They coach with a keen eye to the subtle aspects of form and style, with a specialty in developing a proper foundation for the beginner and first-time surfers, as well as providing the tools and techniques to help hone the skills of even the most experienced surfer. All surf clinics are instructed under the supervision of highly qualified CPR & First Aid certified coaches. Each individual student is provided with a surfboard and equipment appropriate for their size and ability. Clients can expect to walk away from lessons not only having surfed waves but also educated about surfing culture and the Hawaiian waters we surf in. They encourage positive stewardship, both culturally and environmentally.
