Maui Tacos is the brain child of renowned chef, Mark Ellman who also is behind the award-winning fine dining Mala Ocean Tavern, the new Mala at the Wailea Beach Marriott as well as the Penne Pasta Caf�, which serves good food at reasonable prices. With five locations on the island, Maui Tacos serves great food that fuses traditional Mexican fare with the flavors of Hawaii. And the combination is delicious. The fresh grilled fish tacos are a winner, especially when you add the house made pineapple salsa; or try one of the tasty Surf Burritos or quesadillas, or the selection of vegetarian burritos. There are children's meals, lots of sides and terrific salsas to try out - all this and the prices are really reasonable.
