Hall of Fame surfer Nancy C. Emerson has run this West Maui surf school and its Coolangatta, (Queensland, Australia) sister company for 27 years. Her numerous media credits include an appearance on Live With Regis and Kathy Lee and a feature in National Geographic. She has appeared in Waterworld and owns what may be the world's only surfing dog. Nancy and her coaches accept students of all abilities and ages. She and her expert staff are patient instructors and avid advocates of ocean awareness and water safety. There are two other locations in Maui where surfing lessons are held: Launiupoko Beach Park and Puamana.
