SAN DIEGO OVERNIGHT SURF CAMPS IN MISSION BEACH
Experience overnight surf camp the Billabong way in Mission Beach, San Diego. Surfari Surf School and Billabong surf camps are offering a unique surf camp experience for participants ages 10-up. Each week, campers can expect to spend their days and nights in small peer groups that are age and skill appropriate. Campers under 18 will have 24 hour, adult supervision and campers under 10 may attend if accompanied by an adult.
The overnight camp location is a luxurious three-story house that comfortably sleeps 10 people in bunk style rooms with boys separate from girls. Campers will start their day with a healthy breakfast of fruit, cereals, toast, bagels, eggs, milk and juice. They will have opportunities to surf, relax, or enjoy activities like fishing, body surfing, rollerblading, skateboarding or biking along the Ocean Front Walk. San Diego Sunset Vacation Rentals provides their guests with free internet use and free use of beach cruiser bikes.
At night, campers will enjoy gourmet meals prepared by the staff at Surfari. They will prepare Brazilian style BBQ´s with top sirloin Steaks, fish, chicken, hotdogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers. Other meals include burritos, tacos, pizza, pasta and special requests.
In addition to great food, overnight camp is the breeding ground of great memories and stories. Surfari instructors are great hosts who will entertain you with surf stories and educate you on how to improve your surfing. Students will be video recorded during the day at surf camp and will have an opportunity to watch themselves on TV at night. Billabong will also have special guest dropping by the camp from the Surfrider Foundation talking about the ocean and pro-surfers who will share stories on how they got involved in the sport of surfing.
