UC Santa Cruz, City of Santa Cruz establish 'Santa Cruz
Tickets'
In a unique collaboration, UC Santa Cruz and the City of Santa Cruz have created a joint
ticketing system to sell tickets for events taking place on campus, at the Civic Auditorium
and throughout the community.
The new system - Santa Cruz Tickets - is designed as a comprehensive community ticket
office from which patrons can buy tickets to most local performances and events through one
source, either online at www.santacruztickets.com or in person at the City's Civic
Auditorium Box Office, or the UCSC Ticket Office.
Tickets currently available through Santa Cruz Tickets include all performances of the Santa
Cruz Symphony, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music, UCSC
Arts & Lectures, UCSC Arts performances, and all Civic events.
Santa Cruz Mayor Emily Reilly and UCSC Acting Chancellor George Blumenthal hailed
Santa Cruz Tickets as another example of the city and University working together for the
benefit of campus and city residents.
"This is an important step in developing cultural tourism as a fundamental part of our Santa
Cruz economy," Mayor Reilly said. "Neither of our organizations could have done this
