The Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor provides numerous possibilities for the boat owner and the public at large. The mix of harbor amenities complements the diversity of opportunities that exist within the harbor confines. The harbor provides berthing and dry storage facilities for a variety of boats ranging from kayaks to commercial fishing boats. There are also many marine related businesses, restaurants, shops, and charter boat options available to all. The harbor is maintained as a year round harbor of refuge for mariners, where visitor berthing is available and encouraged. There is a new launch ramp to serve trailerable vessels throughout the year. The harbor’s marine park atmosphere is enhanced by informational displays along a walking tour, which emphasize the marine history of the harbor and the Monterey Bay.
