Wrightsville Beach surfing has grown tremendously in the past few years. One of the world’s top surfers, Ben Bourgeois, once called Wrightsville Beach his “home break”. The warm Gulf Stream waters, mild air temperatures and gentle sand bars produce a friendly break for first-timers and more experienced surfers.
