Liquid Board Shop Supports Local Surf Art Scene At The “Liquid Surf Art Gallery”
Rehoboth Beach, DE- Liquid will be hosting “The Liquid Surf Art Gallery” on April 25, 2009 from 11am to 4pm. Local artists will be displaying their works of art that are inspired by the local and international beaches, waves, and oceans. The featured photographers and artists include Jimmy Johnson, Karin Snoot, Ron Snoot, Danny Bostwick, Dan Scrutchfield, Jay Fleming, Chris Jones, and Paul Carpenter.
“The talent level of the local art scene is amazing. It is great to see the scene embrace the ocean and the beaches” remarked Liquid co-owner Mike Ridings.
The goal of the event is to showcase the local surf artists that live in Sussex County. “There are many local surf artists that are looking for a venue to showcase their talents. We thought that Liquid would enable them to do it in a group setting,” stated Liquid co-owner Derek Shockro.
The event will be held rain or shine inside of Liquid. There may be outdoor displays weathering permitting.
