About the Inventor
Jared Smith is 19 years old and from Wollongong, NSW. He had a gap year in 2008 to try his hand at being a professional tennis player, but although he enjoyed it he realised it wasn’t for him and has decided to go to university.
He’s just started a double degree in Engineering and Chemistry at the University of Wollongong which he hopes will aid him in improving his surfboard as well as future projects.
In addition to surfing and tennis, Jared loves to skateboard.
