Telia Stofa, a part of TeliaSonera telecommunications group will now be able to offer much faster broadband services to its bandwidth-demanding customers without any plant upgrade.

Motorola provides innovative DOCSIS solutions which can interoperate with existing network equipment. Besides providing DOCSIS 3.0-certified cable modems to customers the company also provides assistance in DOCSIS 3.0 deployments and in carrier-grade networks and device management.

Motorola’s SB6120e SURFboard cable modem enables Telia Stofa to deliver optimum Internet download and upload speeds. It can support high-bandwidth, next-generation services like gaming, streaming video and multimedia download. It forms part of the company’s bandwidth-expanding technologies like customer premises equipment (CPE) and cable modem termination systems (CMTS).
The SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 line of modems enable operators to increase bandwidth offered to customers without service interruption when deploying Motorola’s DOCSIS 1.x / 2.0 backward compatible CPE. The modems help deliver high-bandwidth multimedia services enabling provision of high-capacity commercial services to their business customers.
