SACRED CRAFT EXPO:
GP founders Bruce Gordon and Nick Palandrini enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the greater surfing community at this year's October Sacred Craft Surfboard Shaping Expo.
Both legends and novices alike had a blast getting to cruise the booth, and see what GP Surfboards is all about.
Bruce had the honor and pleasure of spending some time speaking with legendary shaper Bing Copeland.
GP Surfboards had an amazing reception amongst surfers from around the globe. The expo was an ideal location to showcase the unique craftsmanship of GP Surfboards and was a great venue for interactions between fellow board builders.

The philosophy of GP Surfboards is that each board should be as unique as the individuals who ride them. Since all our boards are hand-crafted, the rockers, rails, width, thickness, and etc. can be tailored to match the specifications of each surfer. GP Surfboards came to fruition through a mutual love of surfing and craftsmanship between surfboard shaper, Nick Palandrani, and woodworker, Bruce Gordon.

At the inception of GP surfboards we decided to build our own stringers, bend our own rocker profiles, glue up our own fin lams and shape every board by hand. This is not a new idea; in the begining all surfboards were made this way. Now by returning to building boards by hand one at a time we give our surfers a board that is personal in appearance and performance.

That is our mission and that is what we do.
