Costa Rica Surf Camp was founded in June 2003 by Alejandro Cerdas. Costa Rica Surf Camp started as a little school for visitors that would come to the beach and ask for lessons. There was no office or phone, simply instructors and the surfboards laying at the beach. After a few months the first version of the website came out. Simple, but with a lot of information about Dominical area and Costa Rica. Soon, people started looking at the website and decided to come visit Costa Rica Surf Camp and Playa Dominical. Big smiles and great feelings encouraged Alejandro to continue with the business. Teaching kids, teenagers and adults, everybody loved the simplicity of our town and our friends. Alejandro's main idea was always to let people feel as comfortable as possible. Students would hang out like if they were living in Playa Dominical their entire life, hence it was not just about business, it was about happiness and satisfaction. Four years later Costa Rica Surf Camp continues with its original idea, offering simple but wonderful vacations to our students, giving them the deserved attention that anyone would like. Our groups are not bigger than 12 people per week, so we can give a no more than 1 instructor to 2 students ratio. Playa Dominical is waiting with wide open arms and warmth to those who love nature, the ocean and the good friendships.
