Surf Forecast 32

Maui Weather
Several weak low pressure features tracking through the Central North Pacific are responsibe for the weakened tradewinds, but high pressure northeast of the state has been able to keep the tradewinds light instead of disappearing altogether. These winds are expected to rebuild over the second half of the week and into the weekend. A weak surface trough is modeled to develop over the next couple days that will keep the tradewinds weak until the weekend, however. Light showers and clouds should be expected to develop over windward and mauka areas over the weekend but no significant rainfall should be expected.
