The second day of competition for the BURGER KING® State Championships saw some prime surf conditions for statewide contestants as wave heights reached six foot faces at the Ala Moana Bowls surf break.
The call to hold the Burger King State Championships couldn't have been better picked as waves are due to pick up throughout the night and the finals for 24 divisions may reach epic size as well as perfect conditions. Something, the event has not seen in more than six years.
