Surf Green 49

The Hot Rod Deluxe Amp has become the world's best selling tube amp, bar none. From it's conception to today, countless guitarists have chosen it as their main amp. It's equally popular with rock, country, punk, pop, blues and jazz guitarists. This factory special run in "Surf Green" features a 12" celestion G12P-80w speaker, surf green vinyl, silver grill cloth, cream chicken head knobs, black handle, black name plate and limited edition badge.

The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe is a compact 40 watt combination amplifier with 3 selectable channels labelled normal, drive and more drive. The cabinet is covered in a Limited Edition Surf Green textured vinyl with silver speaker grill cloth.

There are "Gain" and "Master" controls for the drive channel with a "bright" switch for the normal channel and aside from this there's an FX loop, the Fender long-spring reverb, an external speaker jack, internal variable bias controls, two-button three-function channel footswitch and a chrome panel with vintage pointer knobs.

The combo weighs 20 kilos so whilst it's not exactly lightweight it shouldn't give you a hernia and it utilises 3 x 12AX7 and 2 x 6L6 valves and a solid state rectifier.
