SurfLine - Importer & Module

This importer and module will grab and display surf reports from SurfLine.com.

Instructions:
Arrow Add a new library.
Arrow Setup the importer by selecting the region you want reports for.
Arrow Add the SurfLine module.
Arrow Select your Surf Report library in the module setup.

Requirements:
.net 2.0

To Do:
- Needs icons/graphics of different wave sizes to display - anyone want to help?

Version History
Arrow Version 0.0.0.2 - Module Only
- added an "Update" button to the module. One click runs the importer.
-couple bug fixes

Arrow Version 0.0.0.1 - Module & Importer
- Initial version

this is more a developer question/discussion, but I don't understand the need for an importer in this situation. Why not create a module that grabs the info on the fly? How many times have you looked at something and then realized the importer didn't run?

That's a good question. I honestly never thought about doing it differently. I'm just happy I can figure it out at all... Maybe I'll take a shot at implementing your suggestion.

it was just a thought. One of the strengths of Meedio is obviously the use if libraries. But just because you can doesn't mean you should. I've been experimenting with those thoughts with some success. Imagine a meeMedia importer....yuck! Smile

new version of the module uploaded.

-Inspired by the above discussion, still have the library importer, but added an "Update" button to the module. One click and its updated.
-couple bug fixes

I prefer the instant importer/module versions because they are faster to load than trying to scrape a web page on the fly. But its nice to have both options.
