Just wondered if you know anything about Surfline LOLA forecasting system. Does it take its cues from WW3?

I know f all. but... I seem to remember that in Oddyssey (sp :x ) the dude who narrates (sp) it says the guy who told them about it .... designed it himself. ...so... wouldnt that mean its independant of other software/ charts.

But if so how would he get the readings??
