Surfline ranks top surf colleges
Surfline has named the top 10 surf colleges in the country, grading schools on such factors as proximity and access to surf, surf classes, surf team, surfing alumni and surfing professors. The No. 1 pick: University of California at San Diego. “Who says surfers are a bunch of dummies?” says Surfline. “UCSD has enough surfing MENSA candidates to clog up the lineup at Windanse…”
The list includes other California colleges, as well as schools in Hawaii, North Carolina, Rhode Island and Florida, too. Browse the entire lineup here.
