Seventh Wave Surf School is located at Enniscrone Beach, West, Sligo. It is an idyllic location that has over two miles of excellent surfing conditions suitable for the novice and intermediate surfer. Enniscrone is an attractive seaside town on the Sligo/Mayo border providing ample accommodation to suit all budgets. It has a variety of pubs, restaurants and other amenities and has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
The surf school caters for all, whether you are a beginner, novice or advanced surfer, we have a course to suit you. We can now offer level 2 coaching to those who want to take their surfing further. Surfing lessons and coaching are available in a safe and enjoyable environment with surfboards and wetsuits provided.
The School is run by Linda Byrne, Manager of the Irish Junior Surf Team, and Gerard Byrne, one time Irish Surf Team Member. Gerard has 35 years surfing experience. Gerard is one of the few instructors in Ireland who has completed a Level 2 coaching award, and can now take your surfing to the next level.
On board this year is Irish Junior Surfing champion 2007/2008 Ione Byrne. Ione has competed in both European and World Surfing competitions. She is ranked 8th in Europe at the moment.
The school offers Weekend Surfing Lessons, One to One Lessons, and Kids Summer Surf Camps. We have a package that suits most people. Gift Vouchers are also available.
We supply all the equipment you need for a fun and safe session.
The staff of Seventh Wave are there to help you get the very best from your session. Emphasis is on fun. We believe that surfing can be a fantastic experience for everyone, regardless of age, gender or ability etc.
