SURFERS PARADISE ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Dreamworld - Pacific Highway, a short drive from Surfers Paradise. This is one of the top land attractions in the area, and is a great place to have some fun away from the surf. There are a number of rides on offer, including the Giant Drop; the Tower of Terror; the Cyclone roller coaster; and the Wipeout, amongst others. Be prepared to spend atleast a whole day here.

Great Barrier Reef - This is one of the most famous symbols of Australia, and is not to be missed when in Port Douglas. There are a number of tours and trips out the Great Barrier Reef and are highly recommended. The reef is filled with a wide variety of marine life that lifes there. This is a great activitiy for the whole family to enjoy.

Sea World - Sea World Drive, just north of Sufers Paradise. This is another excellent attraction well worth a visit, if you can get yourself away from the surf for a few hours. Sea World's star attractions are four polar bears, two adults called Ping Ping and Kanook, and two cubs, Lia and Lutik. There are a number of other interesting marine animals to be seen throughout the park. This is also a great place to take the whole family.

SURFERS PARADISE RESTAURANTS Add your favourite restaurant
Billy T. Bones on the Beachfront Cafe Bar Grill - The Esplanade at Hanlan Street. This is one of the beast restaurants right on the beachfront that serve good food at good prices. This is a great place to go for lunch or dinner. The restaurant serves a wide range of steak; pasta; and seafod, add on to this the amazing view of the ocean and you have one of th emost popular places to dine at.

Eazy Peazy Thai & Japanezy - Tedder Avenue, Main Beach. This Asian restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists alike. It is a great place to go if you feel like having something different for lunch or dinner. They serve a wide range of Thai and Japanese dishes, all freshly prepared and at reasonable prices.

RPR's - Royal Pines Resort, Ross Street. This is one of the most popular restaurants in town that serves a range of Australian dishes. The restaurant gets very busy with tourist at dinner, who come to try out some of the house specialities, which includes panfried schnapper on sweet-potato gratin with a preserved lemon aioli and sorrel beurre blanc.

SURFERS PARADISE BARS & CLUBS Add your favourite bar & club
Conrad Jupiters Casino - Gold Coast Highway, Broadbeach. This is the place to go if you're feeling lucky and want to try and strike it rich. The casino offers a wide range of games, including slot machines; black jack; poker; roullette; wheel of fortune; and many more. There is also a bar and a restaurant located on the premises.

Rolls nightclub at the Sheraton Mirage - Sea World Drive, Main Beach. This nightclub is popular with the trendy and sophisticated locals and tourists. This is a great place to go if you want to have a fun night out, have a few drinks and meet some new people. There is a cover charge of around US$3.25.

Saks - Marina Mirage, Sea World Drive, Main Beach. This wine bar is a great place to go and relax, while having a few drinks. On Fridays and Saturdays from 22h30 the wine bar is turned into a disco, which is very popular with the trendy 20 and 30 somethings. This is a great place to party and make some new friends.

SURFERS PARADISE CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES Add your favourite children's spot
Wet 'n' Wild Water World - Pacific Highway. This is a great place to take the children on a fun day out in the sun. There are a number of water rides and slides on offer that will keep them busy the whole day. Some of the most popular rides include Double Screamer; Mammoth Falls; The Twister; Terror Canyon; and White Water Mountain. There is also a restaurant; snack bar; and cafe located on the premises..

Warner Bros. Movie World - Pacific Highway, just north of Surfers Paradise. This is another excellent place to take the children on a fun day out when they need to take a break from the beaches. There are a number of rides throughout, including Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster roller coaster; Lethal Weapon roller coaster; Batman -- The Ride, amongst others.
