Data Security Guard 1.2, Security Can Be Easy
One of the most basic requirements for personal security is ability to hide information onto computer you share with somebody else (your children, colleagues, boss or wife). You don’t need some huge bloated «security package for Professionals», no; typically you need only two features for this type of software: a) it should be easy and b) it should be reliable. That’s all. And that’s how Data Security Guard is designed.
Use of the program is as easy as to add files and folders to the list and press Hide. Now your files and folders are COMPLETELY INVISIBLE for any visitors, programs, hacker utilities, command-line tricks, whatever. When you need them back, you just press Show, and have them back. There are even more handy ways to use the program: there are keyboard shortcuts to show all or hide all files and folders marked to hide; so, you always have time to perform concealment, even if somebody suddenly has appeared just behind you. The program itself can work in «stealth» mode in which even the fact it is running can’t be detected (the stealth mode also can be activated through keyboard shortcut or even by program minimization). The final cut on security is that the program use itself is password-protected. As it has been said, easy and reliable, easy and reliable.
