Longboard Surf 30

Cape Town - Fifty-five Pilot whales have beached at Kommetjie beach and more are still coming ashore, said the National Sea Rescue Institute on Saturday.

"Efforts are being made to get them out to sea as well as determine what caused the "mass stranding", " NSRI spokesperson Craig Lambinon said.
He said volunteers from four NSRI stations and marine scientists were on scene.

Lambinon said the whales starting coming ashore at about 07:30."More are still coming ashore" he said.
