Jo Pickett's surfing career began when she paddled out at Crystal Pier in the summer of 1975 in Wrightsville Beach, NC. Jo and her family still embody this enduring tradition of surfing at Crystal Pier and sharing the love through teaching the art and skill of surfing. A mother to three gifted children who also love to surf, when she's not in the water, she's a personal trainer at O2 Fitness Club and teaches yoga at Seaside Yoga.
