Surf Forecast 79
Local winds hovering in the 20knt range out of the E/SE locally keeping us in the ridable range thru the weekend. Conditions will vary as the tide changes and subject to increases in wind velocities on Sat/Sun. Further out gets complicated. First we have a Low pressure way out in the Atlantic centered near 32 N and 56 W sending us some NE swell arriving sometime Monday. This system is out there so the decay factor is fairly prominent and local winds upcoast may hide this underlying swell. The real story is the formation of a low (possibly tropical in nature) forming just off the Bahama's but moving NW eventually over central to North Fla. WWIII projects N/NE winds pointed our way. We may even get offshore winds Tuesday if we are in the sweet spot of the windfield. On top of that there will also be some NE winds pointed our way early next week. Alot of complicated factors making things interesting . Hopefully we will get that May surprise swell . Enjoy and keep your fingers crossed.
