Beginner to Intermediate Surfing Lessons and Coaching

Our quality surfing lessons are provided at Ukumehame Beach Park, 5 miles south of Lahaina. Our classes have a 3:1 student to instructor ratio (we guarantee very personalized attention). We have a professional – all female staff to make sure you have fun and learn the sport of surfing. We specialize in instructing girls and women, but welcome the guys as well! We provide a surfboard, rash guard, and booties. And to go the extra mile more than our competitors do, we provide fresh fruit juice, and an MSG sticker after your lesson.
Rates:

GROUP: $75/pp* (3-6 PEOPLE)

SEMI PRIVATE: $90/pp (1-2 PEOPLE)

PRIVATE: $125

Directions from Kaanapali:

Surf Location: “Guard Rails” near Puamana Beach Park
Driving Time: Approximately 15 minutes (depending on traffic)

Drive South on 30, heading for Lahaina and towards the airport. You’ll pass through all the stoplights in Lahaina, “Shaw Street” being the last stoplight and approximately 1 mile before our surf location called “Guard Rails”. Maui Surfer Girls will meet you in the parking lot of Puamana Beach Park. This is the first beach park, paralleling the highway just past Lahaina town. Our surf location, “Guardrails”, is 200 yards south of the park near mile marker 19.

Alternate Surf Location: “1000 Peaks” at Ukumehame Beach Park
Driving Time: Approximately 30 minutes (depending on traffic)

Drive South on 30, heading for Lahaina and towards the airport. Ukumehame Beach Park is approximentaly 8 miles south of Lahaina at mile marker 12 on highway 30. You’ll pass through the stop light at Launiopoko Beach Park, mile marker 18, but keep driving south. You’ll then pass Olowalu General Store on the left. Ukumehame Beach Park is at mile marker 12, before you hit the “Pali” (cliff-side section of the highway). Maui Surfer Girls will meet you in the parking lot of Ukumehame Beach Park.

Directions from Wailea:

Surf Location: “Guard Rails” near Puamana Beach Park
Driving Time: Approximately 50 minutes (depending on traffic)

Follow the highway signs to Lahaina, and go north on 30. The first stop light, north on highway 30, is at Launiupoko Beach Park and you will go straight through this stoplight. The next beach park is called Puamana Beach Park, right past mile marker 19. Turn left into Puamana’s beach parking lot. Maui Surfer will meet you in the parking lot. Our surf location, “Guardrails”, is 200 yards south of the park near mile marker 19.

Driving Time: Approximately 30 minutes (depending on traffic)

Follow the highway signs to Lahaina, and go north on highway 30. Once you’re on the scenic “Pali”, or cliff section of the highway, you’ll begin to parallel the ocean. Pay attention to the highway markers on the Mountainside of the highway. Ukumehame Beach Park is at mile marker 12 on highway 30, about a mile north of the “Pali”. Turn left off highway into the parking lot, where Maui Surfer Girls will meet you.
