Big Kahuna's Maui Surf School Policies.
* All students must sign a release waiver.
* All students under the age of 8 must have a parent or legal guardian present for the day.
* Any and all medical conditions must be disclosed to the Big Kahuna Adventures staff.
* All students must know how to swim.
* All costs include surfboards, wax, wetsuit (if needed), and professional surf instruction - (you are always welcome to bring and learn on your own surfboard).
* You must pre-register to guarantee the surf lesson day and time of your choosing.
* Personal checks are accepted in person. For your convenience, Master Card, VISA, and Discover are all accepted and Credit Card payments can be made via the phone or online.
* Payments and deposits are non-refundable.
* Private surf lessons may be booked for as long as you like.
* Our surf instructors are all professionals and will have final say over the wave and surf conditions.
* In the event of bad weather (Thunder, Lightning, or Hurricane) the surf lesson will be re-scheduled. Rain, cold air, or cloudy skies do not constitute bad weather.
* Rain cleans up the surf making it better therefore we do not cancel lessons or clinics due to rain.
* For each clinic or private lesson you attend, we suggest arriving at least 30 minutes early for proper prep-time.
* Always bring sunscreen, a swimsuit, a towel, water, a light snack, and any other items you might want while you are at the beach.
