August 25, 2008: well... im a typical surfer girl from florida, and about 10 months ago, i was forced to move to PA with my family. im so miserable that im away from my ohana family and the ocean that i might go insane! i haven't had that " im at home" feeling up here and i never will. my dad and i are trying as hard as we can to move back down. But until then, i needed some sort of way to make me feel more at home.... and that's reading Surfer Magazine. i dont know, its just whenever i read it, i go into this zone that brings back the true surfer girl within me. i just sit in a corner of my room and start reading.... i can never stop. the pictures and stories just bring back memories that i will never forget. Surfer Magazine is the one of the greatest zines i've ever read. i dont know what i would do without it. it has the coolest photos ive ever seen, the most gnarly stories ive ever heard, and it also helps you get involved in helping out the earth and all its nature. i even bought subscriptions for my friends to feel the vibe and get involved. so snag an issue of Surfer Magazine and get involved. you cant kick it until you try it and remember.... the most simplist thing like picking up three pieces of trash a day can do wonders for our planet. :)))))) PEACE
