ORLANDO, Fla. – June 5, 2006 – Ron Jon SurfparkSM* announces the launch of its website (www.ronjonsurfpark.com), scheduled to go “live” today, Monday June 5th. Designed as the online home for the Surfpark, the site will be a multi-use tool for park members, patrons and travel industry professionals. Features include regularly updated news and details on construction, an interactive Surfpark Tour, membership management tools, group sales information and detailed information on the Surf Pools, Surf School, Surf Camps and all other planned Surfpark offerings.
With construction of the first of three Surf Pools nearly complete, launch of the new website is timed to absorb the increasing groundswell of anticipation surrounding the world’s first Surfpark. “The launch of ronjonsurpark.com places the concept of catching the perfect wave in Orlando one step closer to reality,” said Heather Lewis, marketing director for Ron Jon Surf Shop.
“We are excited to reach this milestone in the development of the Ron Jon SurfparkSM*,” said Doug Kirk, co-founder of Surfparks, LLC. “The site is an integral step toward delivering on the overall customer experience and ultimately, the promise of perfect waves everyday.”
Initially, the site will serve as an information hub, and later this summer, users will have access to a secure deposit transactional system to lock down their Reserved Memberships. Once the Surfpark opens in early 2007, a variety of interactive user options will come online, including a live camera feed from the park, an interactive calendar of wave-types and special events, Surf Session reservations and Surf School reservations.
