So to help kick off summer, we teamed up with TOMS Shoes for a good night of rad live music by The Pawnshop Kings, 100 hot dogs bbq’d by Corey, shoe painting by a few amazingly talented artists and then topped it off with ultra-rare footage screening of Laguna in the 60’s from none other than Spyder Wills, the man behind the lens of Secret Island of Santosha, Stylemasters I and II, and Chasing The Lotus. And although Spyder couldn’t make the night due to food poisoning [bummer!], the night was a success, especially when local legend and friend of Spyder’s, Dennis McTighe saved the night and narrated all the footage. Thanks to all who came out to support a good cause like TOMS Shoes, and much thanks goes out to the folks at TOMS Shoes, it was a pleasure working with all of them and their creative minds. Michel Junod dropped by not too long ago and showed us his new shape The Nowski. Heres three of them that we just shot some quick pics of. We’ve got a ton of new Michel Junod Surfboards in stock now, including some insane new 2 Tones. If you’re not local, keep your eyes peeled in the next couple of days on our site for all the new boards. If you are living around us, come stop in and see em in person, and bring me lunch. The images came out a little weird, but you at least get the idea we hope.

VINTAGE: A TOMS Shoes x Thalia Surf x Spyder Wills Event

Come kickoff summer with us, throw your feet up and lounge to some good live music from The Pawnshop Kings, eat some grub while we BBQ outside, and get a customized personal pair of TOMS Shoes to help a child in need. Then watch some insane vintage footage from Spyder Wills who’ll be coming down to the shop to play his rare vintage surf/skate footage. May 30th from 6-10pm!!!!!
