4th Annual Reef/Sweetwater Pro-Am Surf fest
kicks off july 11-13th at WB
The 4th Annual Reef/Sweetwater Pro-Am Surf Fest will be back in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina on July 11-13th at Oceanic Street. This year’s event will feature a $20,000 pro prize purse! This surfing event is one of the largest on the East Coast and attracts surfers from around the world.
Pro surfers, like past event champion, Rob Machado and defending champion, Asher Nolan, will be returning to Wrightsville Beach in hopes of claiming the title once again. Other surfers include international pros such as Tim Curran, Kalani Robb, Aamion Goodwin, Noah Snyder, Kyle Garson, Rob Cordero, and Tony Silvagni. In all, 128 professional surfers from around the world will descend upon Wrightsville Beach to surf the 3-day event.
Amateur divisions include Guys 15-up, Guys 14-under, Guys Open Longboard, Women 18-up, Girls 17-under, Women’s Open Longboard, and the crowd favorite Guppy division, featuring young, beginning surfers. All amateur finalists will walk away with a great prize package!
