The vibe here is extra friendly. Me and my girls loved the nice selection I've been able to not only get lots of clothes, purses, and glasses for myself, but gifts too!. There is just something about this place that makes you want to go in even though you don't necessarily know what you need. It's very relaxed, has a great gear, videos, glasses, and of course, the original NORCAL selections, and the staff always takes the time to answer questions for you or just chat it up.

Small little shop in Burlingame, kinda drove by it while I was out in the field doing a consultation with a client. I pulled saw it on my way to the meeting and once it had concluded I decided to make a stop there and "get directions". While I was getting "directions" I decided to browse the rooms of this one time home, which was painted an amazing barn brick red. Each room fairly small and with each room had a different section, they primarily carried lots of apparel, which included swimsuits, clothing, caps, sweatshirts and all stuff to make you look like a surfer or skater. They had a few surfboards, nothing to exciting just a few boards from surf tec, a few punch outs, a few long boards and short boards. I will say considering how small each room was, they managed to put alot of material in it.

One particular room had been entirely devoted to the ever increasing in popularity past time of kite surfing. I was always intrigued by it and had a good time looking at the gear. I will say during the time I spent in this shop on a Wednesday afternoon, I was worried I might have wandered into a shop where the store keeper may have went out and forgot to lock up. I was walking in this shop for about 5 minutes and didn't hear anyone nor see anyone. It was a little eerie and I got a little creeped out so I decided to leave. And while it is really random that a surf shop opened in the middle of peninsula, it was nice being able to check out another surf shop, one not to far from work, who knows I may disappear from work and check this place out more on a slightly longer lunch break excursion. I hope he doesn't find out. I don't think he uses yelp.... yet....
